Working Principle
The inclined plate sedimentation tank is a high-efficiency solid-liquid separation device based on lamellar sedimentation theory.
Sewage flows into the tank and passes through a group of closely arranged inclined plates. Under gravity, suspended solids in the wastewater settle onto the plate surfaces, forming sludge that slides down to the sludge hopper at the bottom.
The inclined structure greatly increases the effective sedimentation area and shortens the settling distance of particles, significantly improving separation efficiency while reducing the overall footprint and residence time. Clean water after sedimentation overflows from the top outlet for subsequent treatment.
