The Lamella Clarifier is a high-efficiency inclined plate sedimentation equipment developed based on the shallow tank theory. Following the classic shallow tank theory, sedimentation efficiency is determined by the effective area rather than water depth. Equipped with inclined plates at an angle of 55°-60° and plate spacing of 60-100mm, its effective sedimentation area is 3 to 5 times that of traditional sedimentation tanks. The hydraulic loading reaches 15-25 m³/㎡·h, and the solid-liquid separation capacity is 1.5-2.0 times higher than conventional sedimentation equipment. The removal rate of suspended solids remains stably above 90%.
With an integrated modular structure, it eliminates the need for large concrete tank structures and complex mud scraping equipment. Its floor area is only 20% of traditional radial and vertical flow sedimentation tanks, saving 70%-80% construction land under the same treatment capacity. It is factory prefabricated, transported in split parts and quickly assembled on-site, greatly shortening the construction cycle and cutting civil engineering costs, which is ideal for land-scarce Southeast Asian industrial parks and urban areas.
Adopting uniform water distribution and reverse layered flow design, the internal water flow maintains an ideal laminar flow state without dead zones, short-circuit flow or turbulent flow. The unique overflow water collection tank ensures uniform water collection and stable outlet water quality. The outlet SS is stably controlled below 5 mg/L, fully complying with local environmental discharge standards in Southeast Asia.
The 60° large inclined angle enables automatic sludge sliding and prevents dirt adhesion. The widened plate spacing avoids blockage by fiber, grease and viscous pollutants. Equipped with a high-pressure backwashing system, it realizes regular online cleaning.
Main materials are strictly selected for tropical conditions: carbon steel with heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating or 304 stainless steel for the main body, and high-strength PVC/PP inclined plates with acid and alkali resistance, aging resistance and high temperature resistance. It adapts to the humid and corrosive tropical climate of Southeast Asia with a service life of over 15 years.
The multi-hopper concentrated sludge settling bottom design eliminates sludge accumulation dead corners. Combined with gravity concentration and automatic sludge discharge pumps, sludge discharging is smooth without hardening and deposition. The equipment requires almost no dynamic power consumption except for sludge discharge and backwashing auxiliary pumps. It can be matched with a PLC automatic control system to realize automatic sludge discharge and intelligent cleaning. The daily maintenance workload is only 1/3 of traditional equipment, matching the local low technical operation and maintenance conditions in Southeast Asia.
The combined modular structure supports personalized customization according to water volume, site size and water quality characteristics. The single-unit treatment capacity ranges from 10 m³/h to 500 m³/h, and multiple units can be operated in parallel. It is widely suitable for domestic sewage, papermaking, food processing, printing and dyeing, aquaculture wastewater and raw river water pretreatment, with strong impact resistance to high-turbidity and high-viscosity raw water in Southeast Asia.
