IC嫌気性反応器は、UASBおよびEGSBに続く新しいタイプの嫌気性反応器であり、高い容積負荷、強い衝撃負荷耐性、良好な流出水安定性、大量のガス生産、低い汚泥量、低い運転コスト、および明らかな経済的利益という特徴を持っています。特に中高濃度廃水処理プロジェクトに適しています。
IC反応器は2つのUASB反応器の直列運転に相当するため、下部反応器は高い有機負荷率を持ち、「粗処理」の役割を果たし、上部反応器は低負荷で「精密処理」の役割を果たし、良好で安定した流出水質を実現します。
