Zhongqiao Enlightenment Launches Advanced DAF System for Industrial Wastewater

Weifang, China - Zhongqiao Enlightenment (Weifang) International Trade Co., Ltd., a leading integrated wastewater treatment equipment manufacturer, has officially launched its next-generation dissolved air flotation (DAF) system designed specifically for industrial wastewater treatment applications. The new product line marks a strategic expansion of the company's portfolio beyond its core integrated wastewater treatment equipment, addressing the growing demand from food processing, chemical, and manufacturing industries for high-efficiency physical-chemical pretreatment solutions.

The newly released DAF system utilizes advanced pump-based pressurized dissolution technology, generating micro-bubbles in the 25 to 40 micron range that effectively attach to suspended solids, oils, and colloidal particles in industrial effluent. This causes contaminants to float to the surface where they are mechanically skimmed and removed. The system achieves removal rates exceeding 90 percent for suspended solids and over 85 percent for oil and grease, making it an ideal pretreatment stage upstream of biological treatment processes.

Zhongqiao Enlightenment developed this DAF product line in response to repeated customer requests for a comprehensive treatment solution that combines physical-chemical and biological processes under a single supplier. Many industrial facilities previously had to source DAF units from one vendor and biological treatment systems from another, creating integration challenges and fragmented after-sales support.

The DAF system is available in capacities ranging from 5 to 300 cubic meters per hour, covering applications from small food processing workshops to large-scale industrial parks. Standard models feature stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance, variable-frequency drive recirculation pumps for energy optimization, and an automated sludge removal mechanism with adjustable skimmer speed.

Food processing plants represent one of the primary target markets for the new DAF system. Slaughterhouses, dairy facilities, and edible oil refineries generate wastewater with high levels of fats, oils, and grease that can overwhelm biological treatment systems if not properly pretreated.

Zhongqiao Enlightenment has invested substantially in the DAF product line development over the past 18 months. The company's in-house engineering team conducted extensive computational fluid dynamics simulations to optimize the flotation tank geometry, ensuring uniform flow distribution and maximizing bubble-particle contact time.
