Sedimentation Tank
The inclined tube (plate) sedimentation tank is designed based on the shallow pool sedimentation theory and belongs to the high-efficiency combined sedimentation tank, also commonly known as the shallow pool sedimentation tank. The equipment is equipped with dense inclined tubes or plates within the sedimentation zone, where suspended impurities in the water complete sedimentation. The water rises along the inclined tubes (plates), and the separated sludge slides down to the bottom of the tank under gravity and is then discharged centrally. This structure can increase sedimentation efficiency by 50%–60%, and the treatment capacity can be increased by 2–4 times under the same floor area. The inclined tube sedimentation device can be customized for flow rate based on the original wastewater test data, and coagulant is usually required during operation.
The inclined tube sedimentation water purification process involves installing inclined tube components with a tilt angle of 60° above the sludge suspension layer. Suspended solids, solid particles in raw water, or flocculated alum flocs formed after adding coagulant will accumulate on the bottom surface of the inclined tube to form a thin sludge layer. Under the action of gravity, the sludge layer slides back into the sludge suspension layer and eventually settles into the sludge collection bucket, from which it is discharged into the sludge tank through the sludge discharge pipe for subsequent treatment or comprehensive utilization. The supernatant rises to the clean water zone and is discharged, which can be directly discharged or reused.
