The inclined tube (plate) sedimentation tank is an efficient combination sedimentation tank designed based on the theory of shallow tank sedimentation, also known as a shallow tank sedimentation tank. Set up many dense inclined pipes or plates in the settling area to allow suspended impurities in the water to settle in the inclined pipes or plates. The water rises and flows along the inclined pipes or plates, and the separated sludge slides down along the inclined pipes (plates) under the action of gravity to the bottom of the pool and is then discharged in a concentrated manner.

This structure can improve precipitation efficiency by 50-60% and increase processing capacity by 2-4 times on the same area. According to the experimental data of the original wastewater, inclined tube sedimenters with different flow rates can be designed, and coagulants are generally added during use.
The inclined tube sedimentation purification method is to install inclined tube components with a tilt angle of 60 degrees above the sludge suspension layer, so that suspended solids, solids or flocs formed by adding coagulants in the raw water can aggregate into a thin sludge layer on the bottom surface of the inclined tube, slide back to the sludge suspension layer by gravity, and then sink into the sludge collection hopper. The sludge is discharged into the sludge tank through the discharge pipe for further treatment or comprehensive utilization, and the supernatant gradually rises to the clean water area for discharge, which can be directly discharged or reused.
